Delicious Mango Habanero Salsa

Time: 2025-02-05

Many people think that frozen ingredients are not as good as fresh ones, but this is a misunderstanding. Our frozen mangoes are carefully selected at the peak of ripeness and then quickly frozen. This way, nutrients like vitamin A, vitamin C, and various minerals are fully retained, and the flavor remains intact. Moreover, frozen mangoes are always ready to use. You don't have to wait long, saving you a lot of time and energy, and bringing great convenience to your cooking.

We have two types of frozen mango: dice and halves. The dice are uniform and perfect for the salsa. No need to cut; they mix well and bring mango sweetness to every bite. The halves, on the other hand, keep the natural shape. You can cut them to your liking, enjoying the process and controlling the texture.

Ingredients

  1. 2 - 3 pieces of our frozen mango (either dice or halves). Thaw at room - temperature and dry. Dice can be used directly; halves need cutting.

  2. Red onion: 1/4, cut into fine pieces. The unique pungent taste of red onion can contrast with the sweetness of mango, adding rich flavor layers to the salsa.

  3. Red bell pepper: 1/4, also cut into small pieces. The red bell pepper is brightly colored, which not only makes the salsa more visually appealing but also enriches the taste with its sweet flavor.

  4. Fresh coriander: A small bunch (optional, according to personal preference), cut into small pieces for later use. The fresh herbal aroma of coriander can add the finishing touch to the whole salsa, making its taste more refreshing and pleasant.

  5. Lime: 1, squeeze out fresh lime juice. The addition of lime juice is the key to enhancing the flavor of the salsa. Its fresh sour taste can instantly activate your taste buds and make the flavors of all ingredients blend better.

  6. Habanero pepper: 1 - 2 (Decide whether to remove the seeds according to your personal tolerance for spiciness). The habanero pepper is the "spicy star" among peppers. Its unique spiciness can inject a hot and energetic flavor into the salsa. If you can't eat too spicy food, reducing the amount or removing the seeds is a good choice.

  7. Salt: An appropriate amount, used to adjust the taste and balance the flavors of all ingredients.

Steps

  1. Thaw the frozen mango. For halves, cut into small pieces. Pat dry to avoid a watery salsa.

  2. Chop the red onion, red bell pepper, and habanero pepper (wear gloves). Remove habanero seeds for less spiciness.

  3. Put all the chopped ingredients into a large bowl.

  4. Squeeze in lime juice, add salt, and stir well. Adjust lime juice and salt to your taste.
